Freedom is not merely a political matter, it is a necessary condition for any  morality, be it religious or secular. One acts morally only when one voluntarily does the right thing although a wrong alternative is available. One can only act morally of one's own free will, when free to choose between morality and immorality. No one can be moral by force. Moreover, those doing the forcing are committing an immoral act.

About Killing Innocents, attributed to God PDF Print E-mail

This article is directed to those who profess to be Christians, but its message is relevant for others, particularly Jews, as its Old Testament references supposedly apply to them.  According to the cited scriptures, the killing of a single innocent, even in an otherwise justifiable conflict is a definite no-no, according to God himself. A great many believers are apparently unaware of God's position on this point. Were they aware, they would be guilty of the vice of vices, so called because it is the only vice that can never coexist with integrity: hypocrisy.  A hypocrite is rotten to the core.

Thinking: It's all in your head
Intro

Many people want to control your life, to prevent you interfering with their plans or to use you in some way to attain their goals. What better and easier way to control you than to control what goes into your head and is incorporated into the program that runs or ruins your life?

Our Blog and our Reading Room are as close as your computer,  and there are no overdue fees. Our goal is to provide an abundance of information on the need for, the benefits of, and possible paths to a world of sovereign individuals. That is the New World Order we need, not the proposed  NWO that is just the old world order on steroids..

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created as equal and sovereign individuals, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Sound familiar? Thomas Jefferson didn't go quite far enough. After he said "among these are," he should have enumerated a few more and saved us a lot of grief.

That line should have read something like: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are at their creation endowed with certain inalienable rights, that among these rights are Life, Liberty, including the Liberty to live that life as they se fit as long as in so doing they inflict no violence on any other or the property of any other, the Pursuit of happiness and livelihood, and the ownership and sole right to their llfe and the fruits of their labor."

A right is a natural permit received at birth, to act in one's own self-interest with total control over one's own life and property as long as others are not injured nor their property taken or damaged. Each person owns his life and has the right to live it according to his beliefs, religious or otherwise, as long as he allows others the same right. Each man has the rights to the fruits of his own labor, be it physical or intellectual, Obviously, government has other ideas.
